On May 20, 2026, the VDA QMC Software Quality Advisory Board China (SWQ Advisory Board China) successfully held its 50th meeting in Shanghai. 20 expert representatives from OEMs and suppliers across the automotive industry gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on software quality management, the implementation of ASPICE in China, and industry standard alignment.
VDA QMC China would like to express its sincere gratitude to Geely Auto and its Quality Management Center Software Quality Team for their great support in hosting this meeting, providing a professional workshop venue, and ensuring a warm and well-organized experience for all attendees. Geely Auto's Software Quality Management Framework: Geely Auto presented its centralized, end-to-end software quality management system to the attendees, covering the full lifecycle of in-house software development and #supplier management, offering valuable practical insights for the industry.
SYS 2026 Presentation Draft Review: The group reviewed and refined draft proposals for upcoming presentations at VDA Automotive #SYS® Conference, incorporating collective board feedback to strengthen the content and better represent China's software quality practices on the international stage.
ASPICE in China – Challenges and Opportunities Workshop: Bosch, Horizon Robotics, and CARIZON shared their perspectives on applying ASPICE in agile development environments, with a particular focus on pain points such as MAN.3/PA2.1 in project management and proposed implementation way suited to rapid development cycles. The presentations sparked lively discussion among attendees. The insights gathered will be contributed to @VDA Working Group 13 as key input from China.
The 50th meeting marks not only a milestone, but a new starting point for the industry to collectively build a stronger software quality ecosystem. We look forward to SWQ Advisory Board China continuing to drive the sustainable development of software quality in China's automotive industry.
